BP1 - Business Planning for Start-up Businesses

This workshop is designed for individuals who want help getting started with the organization of their venture and development of their business plan. A business plan provides you with a comprehensive overview of all aspects of your business.  This workshop is designed for individuals who want help getting started with the actual organization and development of their business plan.  For you to gain the maximum benefit from this workshop, you should have completed a major portion of your research and be at the stage where you are ready to start putting your plan on paper.  A workbook will help guide you through each step of the process and time will be allocated after each step so that you can begin writing that specific portion of the plan.  Instructors will be available during the workshop to assist you with your individual plan.

BP2 - Small Business Marketing

The goal of this interactive workshop is to help new small business owners create a good Marketing Plan. This workshop is designed to address the questions of entrepreneurs who are already in business, or those who have reached a point in researching a business and are now ready to finalize their plans. 

This workshop is intended to allow you to become conversant with the marketing required of any business. The key components for developing a marketing plan will be outlined:  targeting your customer; assessing your competition; service; and developing a product, pricing, promotion, and distribution strategy.   This seminar will guide you through those essential marketing areas that impact every business.
